You want to know what I look like?!

7 Jun

It seems that people are actually reading this little blog o’ mine. That is awesomely fantastic! Considering this all started because my Facebook posts were getting so long that friends suggested that I either write a book or do stand-up comedy. I mostly receive supportive emails from family and friends. I get the occasional criticism or reader that is kindly suggesting things I might want to change. I can handle opinions and suggestions. It doesn’t mean I’m going to do what you want me to, but I can totally handle the comments.

But, shockingly the number one question I get asked via email is: What do you look like?!

It’s interesting that out of all the things people might wonder about me, that’s the number one lingering curiosity. Is it because I live in Beverly Hills and readers want to know if I look like a Barbie doll? I don’t. If I wasn’t me and I read my blog I would probably ask myself these questions first, Did you grow up in Beverly Hills? Are you going to have anymore children? Do you get paid to write this amazing blog? Where are these screaming kids you speak of while you write your blog? How come you never mention your husband? Nope. Even in the age of Texting, twittering and emailing humans still want to put a face with the name. I haven’t put pictures on my blog on purpose to try and give my kids some anonymity in all this. We are a pretty out there in public family. We walk around town, use the local parks, go to the neighborhood schools, and eat at the local restaurants. I am a little hesitant about strangers coming up to one of my kids and saying, “I heard you took your diaper off and spread crap all over your crib!” or “Stop driving your Mommy crazy, it makes her drink too much!”

I might decide to start posting pictures, I might not. For now, I can tell you what I don’t look like:

Or this….

xoxo

What do you think? Should I start posting family pictures?

NO PICTURES Curiosity killedsome cat…I don’t think you need to worry that the curious who question you will suffer that fate. A little mystery can go a long way.

Ah Les, we always knew there’d be a way to capitalize on all the crazy. With all your blogging fame, I can say I knew you when.

You look a little like the second pic, but what’s with all that muffler crap? What is that?
